Cowboys’ Ezekiel Elliot Suspended For 6 Games by NFL
As announced by the NFL league office, Dallas Cowboys running back Ezekiel Elliot will be suspended for the first six games of the upcoming 2017 season for violating the league’s personal-conduct policy.
The announcement comes off the heels of an ongoing year-long investigation, regarding a domestic violence indictment involving Elliot in July of 2016 with a former girlfriend. Elliot has denied those claims and was never arrested or charged for the allegations.

In his rookie season with the Cowboys, Zeke rushed for 1,631 yards and 15 touchdowns on the way to All-Pro and Pro Bowl honors.
This news leaves the Cowboys with a veteran running back stable of Darren McFadden, Alfred Morris, and Ronnie Hillman to start the year.
